Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 Oct 2026

These terms apply to all services provided by KGB Algo, a technical bridge service, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu ("KGB Algo", "we", "us") to you ("the client"). By requesting a quote, approving a scope or making a payment, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Risk & Responsibility page and Privacy Policy.

1. Our service

We develop software that automates trading rules defined by you and connects to your broker's official API. Supported brokers currently include Upstox, Zerodha Kite, Angel One, Groww and Dhan, plus other brokers with an official API. We do not provide investment advice, trading strategies, tips or account management.

2. Scope and quote

Before any work starts, we prepare a written plan of your rules and the features to be built ("the scope"), with a price and an estimated timeline. Work begins only after you approve the scope in writing (WhatsApp or email is enough) and make the advance payment. Prices on our website are starting prices; your final price is the one in your approved quote.

3. Payment

  • 90% of the project fee is payable before work starts. The balance is payable before final handover.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees.
  • We charge a one-time development fee. We never take a share of your profits.
  • Brokerage, taxes, broker API fees, VPS or hosting charges and other third-party costs are paid by you directly and are not included in our fee.

4. Timelines

Timelines in a quote are estimates. They depend on the complexity of your rules, how quickly you answer questions and complete testing, and on broker or third-party systems. Delays caused by these factors are not a breach of these terms.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to give clear and complete rules, answer our questions, take part in testing, and follow all responsibilities listed on the Risk & Responsibility page. You confirm that you are 18 or older and legally allowed to trade in the instruments you ask us to automate.

6. Testing and acceptance

We test the software with you before handover, first in a test setup or with the smallest possible quantity. Once you confirm that the software follows the approved scope, or start using it with normal position sizes, the project is considered accepted.

7. Support after delivery

We provide 7 days of technical support after go-live. During this period, we fix bugs where the software does not follow the approved scope, at no extra cost. Support does not cover new features, changes to your rules, or problems caused by your broker, exchange, internet, computer or VPS. We do not keep a copy of your code after this period, so later changes need you to send us your code first.

8. Changes and extras

Any change outside the approved scope is a new request, quoted separately. Our current extra charges start from ₹2,500 and are listed on our pricing page. We start extra work only after you approve its price.

9. Ownership and delivery of the software

After full payment, you own 100% of the software and source code written for your project, and your trading rules always remain yours. We deliver all of it to you at handover. Broker libraries and open-source packages used in the project keep their own licences. After the 7-day support period ends, we permanently delete our copy of your project code and materials, including from our backups, and we confirm this in writing if you ask. Please keep your own backup before that date. We keep only records that the law requires, such as invoices and payment records.

10. Confidentiality

We keep your trading rules and project details confidential and use them only for your project, as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree not to share our quotes, internal documents or source code with third parties except as allowed in section 9 or as needed to use your own software.

11. Cancellation and refunds

  • You may cancel a project at any time by informing us in writing.
  • No refund is given once the work has started.
  • We may cancel a project if the rules cannot be automated reliably, if the request is illegal or against broker or exchange rules, or if these terms are not followed. In that case, we refund any amount paid for work not yet done.

12. Limitation of liability

We build software to follow your approved rules, but we do not guarantee profits, performance or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for trading losses, missed or wrong trades, lost profits or any indirect loss. Our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the development fee you paid for that project.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover any loss, claim or penalty we face because of your trading activity, your breach of these terms, or your breach of SEBI, exchange or broker rules.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you approved your quote applies to that project.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. We will always try to resolve concerns by talking first.
