This policy explains what personal information KGB Algo collects, why we collect it and how we protect it. KGB Algo is operated by KGB Algo, a technical bridge service, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu ("KGB Algo", "we", "us"). We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to understand your request and deliver your software:

  • Contact details: your name, phone number and email address, when you contact us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone
  • Project information: your trading rules, notes, Excel sheets, screenshots, voice notes and any other material you send us
  • Broker setup details: which broker you use, and API keys or setup details only if you choose to share them so we can configure and test your software
  • Payment details: invoices and payment references. We do not collect or store your card or bank account numbers.

We never ask for your broker password, PIN or OTP.

2. How the website contact form works

The form on our website does not store anything on our servers. When you click "Continue on WhatsApp", it opens WhatsApp with your details typed into a message, and you choose whether to send it.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

  1. Reply to your enquiry and prepare a scope and quote
  2. Build, test, deploy and support your software
  3. Send invoices and keep records required by law
  4. Improve our website

We do not use your trading rules for any other client, for our own trading, or to build products for sale.

4. Your trading rules are confidential

Your rules are used only to build your software. We do not share, sell or publish them. If you need a signed confidentiality agreement (NDA), ask us before sending your rules.

5. Sharing with others

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed with:

  • Service providers we use to work with you, such as WhatsApp (Meta), our email provider, our website host, and a VPS provider if you ask us to set one up
  • Your broker, only through the official API, as part of the software you approved
  • Authorities, when required by law

Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive basic technical data such as your IP address when you visit.

6. API keys and access

If you share API keys or remote access with us, we use them only for setup, testing and support of your project. We recommend that you enter keys yourself where possible, and that you regenerate any shared keys after handover. We never place trades in your account except test orders you have approved.

7. How long we keep information

We keep project information only while we deliver and support your software. After the 7-day support period, we permanently delete your project code, rules and materials from our devices and backups. We keep only the records that Indian tax and accounting laws require, such as invoices and payment records. You can also ask us to delete your material earlier.

8. Security

We take reasonable care to protect your information, including limited access and secure storage. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so please avoid sending passwords or OTPs to anyone, including us.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct or update it
  • Delete it, unless we must keep it by law
  • Withdraw consent for future use

To make a request or raise a complaint, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

11. Children

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
